Jan son of Idith is a field recording of the firing boiler at Orila, Athens.
Michael Adamis (born 1980) started learning piano at the age of five and quit simultaneously. At the age of thirteen he acquires his first bass guitar and plays in a not-worth-mentioning school group for a few months before being kicked out. Having studied environmental art, printing & painting at the university of art and design in Helsinki, he also becomes interested in sound as an art medium. With various collaborations and aliases Adamis remains active in conducting burial rites, weddings and other liturgies as Putsum, delivering screaming tributes to Ronnie James DIO + creating sound installations as Mephisto and performing live as Adam_is and with the likes of Dead Gum, Manic Strip Teachers and Old Fashioned Donkeys.
